Terms of Service
Rules and conditions for using GhostChat.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a profile or use GhostChat. Do not use the service if you are under 18. Do not misrepresent your age.
2. Your profile and account
Use a nickname and only information you are comfortable sharing. You are responsible for activity carried out through your profile and for keeping access to your device and session secure. Do not impersonate another person or create profiles to evade a suspension or block.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use GhostChat to harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, groom, defraud, or intimidate anyone; distribute spam or malicious links; violate another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights; share non-consensual intimate imagery; or promote illegal activity. Do not solicit money, passwords, verification codes, financial details, or sensitive personal information from other users.
4. Images and user content
Only upload images you have the right to share. Never upload intimate, sexual, identifying, or sensitive images of another person without their valid consent. Image viewing features are best-effort only; recipients may take screenshots, record their screen, or otherwise preserve content. Do not assume that a “View Once” image can never be copied.
5. Reporting, blocking and moderation
You can use available report and block controls. We may review reports, remove content, restrict features, suspend profiles, or disable access where we reasonably believe these terms or safety rules have been violated. We may preserve information where required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect users, or enforce these terms.
6. Privacy and availability
Use of GhostChat is also governed by the Privacy Policy. The service may be changed, interrupted, or discontinued. We do not promise uninterrupted service, that every user is genuine, or that every message or image can be recovered.
7. Disclaimers and limitation
GhostChat connects users but cannot verify every claim a user makes or control off-platform conduct. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and the operator is not responsible for user-generated content or interactions outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms and indicate the revised date above. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms where legally permitted. You may stop using the service at any time.
9. Applicable law
Applicable law and dispute procedures depend on the operator's location and the users' legal rights. The operator should insert the correct governing-law and contact details before launch.
